Hey guys,

I came across this torrent recently called the Most High CD-Rom and one of the files in it is a video of Paul Stamets speaking at the Psychoactivity Conference in 1999. The video is awesome, with great info on Stamet's personal mush philosophy and biography, some funny stories, info on finding mush in the field, some cultivation info, and why he doesn't sell spore prints. I uploaded it to Google Video, and its about an hour long but if you've got some time, I highly reccomend it.

very cool. thanx for sharing. i watched it; an it was like goin to mushy school. very informative. i recommend evryone one involved in mycology to watch it..........good stuff.

Simply amazing to see a Stamets lecture!

I never would have imagined that he was so down to earth

and easy to understand.

Agreed, I actually have heard people bad-mouthing him because he doesn't supply spores or talk personally with people about cultivating psilocybes but this video really puts his methods into perspective I think. I love the part where he talks about how the people in the American justice system are actively cultivating.

He is definitely a personal hero of mine.

Does any body out there know which strain he was talking about when he mentions the flying saucers I couldn't understand the other name for it that he said first. They were the ones that turn blue when you blow on them.
