For this grow I will be following Waylitjims Pan. Cyan. Tek.
The Goliath prints came from the Mood Docs fundraiser.
On Dec. 14 I nocced 4 trays with spores.
Today I scraped off the Verm barrier and cased using the
recipe from the tek.
Misted well and sent back to incubate a few more days.
I also added a pic of the LC I nocced on the Dec. 23.
It's tough to see, but there are little strands growing
in there. I used 4tsp light Karo - 400ml distilled water.
My plan is to noc some PF style jars with the LC to test it.
If it colonizes with no nasties I'll spawn them to horse poop
and straw maybe. Any suggestions?
OK so right now there's not much to see but I attached the pic.

P.S. One tray fell to a cobweb looking contam along the way.
It started out looking like mycelium poking through the verm barrier.
But as the days passed, it took on a real dark color, almost black.
Spread real fast too.
Needless to say I ditched it.

I forgot to mention that for this grow I will
be making a tit incubator style fruiting chamber.
On my last grow the temps were lower than I wanted.
I plan to still use perlite for RH on the bottom.
I'll gather the supplies today and get started.
This will give me a few days to get the temp. right
while the trays incubate.
My main concern for this will be FAE is not going to
be automated. In the future I will automate, but for
now I will be fanning several times a day.
The cool mist is being used for cubes, but I may be able to
rig it up so both FC can use it.
Thats it for now, time to get to work.
I'll post updates as they come!

Yes Spacecake, I went a lil deeper with
the casing this time. Prob. closer to half inch.
I started the tit, now I will monitor the temp.
for a couple days until it's right.
The perlite is soaking and will be added soon.
I also didn't think about having a clear lid,
so I will have to modify the white one.

Any suggestions on this setup are welcomed!

Right on bro,

I would suggest that when you get the fae system to mount the nozzle or spray bar low so the o2 can penetrate the co2.

P.S. One tray fell to a cobweb looking contam along the way.

You can keep cobweb pretty much out of the equation with plenty of o2 exchange  I havent had it since going the Tropic-aire route. I have however had some weird looking Pan myc that was 100% fine, its hard to tell sometimes. Se La Vi.

Let see a mountian of Pans

If you want a litlle bit of higher temps inside the tub,..then you can isolate the outer tub with an isolation 'blanket'.

This will also keep light out,and because a piece of the inner tub is above the outer tub..it will give light only from above...!
So,you don't have to chance the lid aswell.

I hope you know what I mean,..it's just an idea.

I see exactly what you mean, I may just try that
I haven't modified the lid yet, prob be much easier!

feds- the contam came during incubation, the trays
were innoculated in the GB and the lids stayed on until
it was ready to case. Im not sure it was cobweb,
looked like it, only blackish. (or very dark, color blind)
Wanted to snap a pic, but my camera sucks and I
didn't want to keep it around any longer than nessecary.(sp)

grrr, not yet Foster, hopefully soon.
Good luck with yours as well!

Here's a lil update....
Trays went into FC today.
Attached a pic, also a pic of the lids
that I made for these trays.
I made two filter patch holes b/c the oval
shape of the trays.
Not sure if it was nessecary.
Also, the holes are much smaller than the tyvek suit patch.
You can kind of see the marker line on the upside-down lid.

Spacecake- I added a pic of the FC with a blanket around it.
Is this what you meant?
It did bring the temp up a couple degrees.

Good News, all 3 trays are pinning!:cacti:
They are still small, so the pics aren't the best.
More pics to come as they mature!
