Natives of Amazon have traditionally combined Banisteriopsis caapi vine,
which contains harmine, harmaline and related beta-carbolines, with DMT-
containing plants to make an orally active brew called ayahuasca. <!-/quote-!>

From archives [here]

to make Ayahuasca.<!-/quote-!>

but I guess that wasn't the question... It contains harmine, harmaline and related beta-carbolines. Harmine is not scheduled in the US and is an MAOI Inhibitor.
You can get information on the effects/etc of MAOI's at [Erowid]

there is always an MAOI, and your gonna puke right ? <!-/quote-!>

There has to be to make it work, and I don't know about the puking.. most do, some don't. It's called the "purge" and is actually a good thing as it rids your body, "purges you", of the things that aile you.

I think if you do pharmahuasca, it won't give you these symptoms. That is, extract DMT and and MAOI in its pure form to get the cleanest experience.

It would be better if you used one of the many "admixture" plants, like Chacruna or Chalipanga if you want to have a visionary experience. This would be called oco-yage or yage-uco.

I was just curious as to recommended vendors for such plants as red caapi and mimosa. Bonus if they're sponsors here.
