The vine alone is supposed to have healing properties, it isn't necessarily that you have to use it for tripping... It's called the "vine of the soul" and is known for it's antifungal and antibacterial properties or, so I've read on erowid.org, so I think it couldn't hurt...

I'd say, make a double or triple dose. Drink the normal amount (I can feel MAOI sedation, without any DMT-admixture), and if you feel you need more take more. If you can feel the MAOI, then it'll work for DMT activation. Hopefully, it's not more than three times weaker than normal.

Then take some chacruna brew, sit back, and enjoy the ride.

It may not even be caapi. I read there are loads of vines almost identical to it and they can be harvested by accident.

A potent vine brew on its own can give a nice buzz, and maybe hallucinations if the dose is big enough.
