I suppose storing freshies in the fridge would surfice, but I don't see why even doing it in the first place. Soon as mine are picked they're laid out to dry until cracker dry. 2-3 days usually. You can vacuum seal and store for up to 2 years without any notice of potency loss. I've experienced storing vacuum sealed mushrooms that were completely dry for up to that long. The trip ratio is better with dry shrooms than freshies or 1/2 dry mushrooms IME's. Sometimes i've been disappointed by the trip levels of fresh or 1/2 dry mushrooms. Cracker dry mushrooms always provide hammering, consistent trips for me.

Is this a good storage method?
