Look at how sweet Shulgins method is in Tikal, using just cloroform for a solvent and the POCL3 and again the very same recipe in Recreational Drugs by Brother Buzz 3.15 grams of (Gee I would certainly remember if this wern't so public a place) and diethylamine, Was that 7.5 Grams? with the Pocl3 reflux and evaporate and recrystalize 5 times? and u should do some background checking before talking shit i have posted alternative ways look and ye shall find i know what u are saying but this is a far cry from fester and even if unrelevant to most im sure shulgin himself wouldnt mind it being here for reference. we all know his work is superior for the likes of ourkind, but whatever. dont hate. peace.

Do you have any information about the purification of the extract of Trichocereus cacti? SWIM has a good quantitiy of white 'mescaline' from several kilograms of dried cactus skins, but this is really a mixture of various alkaloids. He would like to further purify this in order to get rid of the non-psychedelic substances such as 3,4-dimethoxyphenethylamine, anhalonidine, anhalinine, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenethylamine, etc.

you do know much of the 'substance' or spiritual aspects of the trip fade, the more you take away from the mescaline. in other wordfs the purer the concentrate the speedier the trip, as far as what ive read heard have been told and tried. thats why folks who eat a lot of cactus prefer flesh over extract ten fold. they purify too far and end up with something close to psychedelic speed which yeah definitely sounds cool id like to try it myself but i just copy pasted this here for posterity. im not anywhere near qualified enough to understand half this chemistry. i think pure mescaline without the things that remain in your white crystals, that you named that i can barely pronounce, i fear you may not have a product with as much substance as what you started with. mescaline needs those buddies hehe. definitely will be cool to se how it feels tho! like pharmaceutical grade mescaline or synthed mesc i suppose? some here can, and do know the chemistry well enough or are actual organic chemists, and will answer your question. ill make sure i bump this thread and or ask around for you, tho :) have you read the info in our vaults? if the crystals are white already i cant help i do not kno wwhich reagents youll need to use and forget the procedure im not that advanced..yet! :teeth: hehe let us know how it goes please!!! :bow:Nice write up of many of our favorites!
