I'm a bit confused about the process with this tek.
Once the colonized grain has been mixed with verm in trays and incubated to re-colonize, should a casing be used or will they fruit better without??
I saw on another thread that someone cased on the third flush. Is it common practice to fruit a couple times then case??
If a casing is used from the start then should there should there be further incubation and patching done before moving into the FC??? Thanx:rasta:
Foaf is still waiting for his first ever flush o' shrooms, all advice appreciated.

Rez tek casing questions...

not a great idea to case after flushes
surface covered with bacteria/mold spores by then,
burying them under wet warm casing will hatch those.

Casing is typically applied after the initial incubation , when the myc has colo'd the verm/spawn mix...Usually takes 2-3 days ...
Then the cased tray is moved to the FC ...The tray can still be partially covered to conserve moisture but it should have some air exch...
After a few days the cover can be completely removed ...Mist to maintain a moist surface and ventilate periodically..gluk....
