All of them in only one incubator.

On the lower floor there are about 6 days old texs (PF TEK cakes). They're doing great :D.
And today I nocced
5 jars of ATL#7 (from a syringe)
3 jars of Mex A (from a little print)
3 jars of Jalisco (from a little bigger print)
all on rye
except Goliath which is on pure Hpoo (about 2,5cc of spore solution)

Thx. All these exotics have to work out since I probably lost my Azures! It's been about two weeks and nothing has germinated in the jars. Heck with that. Will try them again ASAP, at least now I have these to care for :D.

Well, I think that the Texs are doomed - at 50-90% colonization. About half of the jars show signs of green mold and I'm afraid that the rest is contamed as well. Crap...

Dunno why. Was it because of the print or the jars? I will let the rest of them grow some more and see if they show any bad signs. If they do, I'll get over to glass jars.

The exotics haven't shown any growth yet.

With Azure it can take up to two weeks, before you see any signs of growth...

I nocced Azures 19.02. Nothing yet. But I'll keep them some more time.

Meanwhile the Goliaths have germinated :headbang:, although the rest of the pack is still asleep.

And... I found some interesting stuff in the woods and on a field :P.
Ps. Azurescens and Ps. Subaeruginosa spawns and a Semilanceata print.
Any ideas how I should work these little spawns out will be greatly appreciated . There is some mycelium in the Azurescens bag, but I don't see any in Subaeruginosa. I want to save at least one of them. Help, plz:amazed:.

Don't really understand your question..!

You found Azure and Subaeruginosa Spawn, but you don't have Subaeruginosa Myc. ???

No myc = no Spawn...

Hehe, actually a FAOF has shared some of his own spawn. I don't see any myc in this Subaeruginosa spawn, but I believe that there are some living cells that will show some white fluff soon :P. So the question is; how to deal with these spawns? I think that I could scrape some of Azure myc and work with it further on agar. Sadly, yesterday I discovered that my petri dishes simply melt in PC. Not good...

As for the plastic containers - yup. They are PC friendly. I got mine in Denmark, so I don't really know how I can help you with them, but just FYO - plastic containers with PP 5 (in a triangle) designation can withstand up to 120 degree Celsius. You can find this kind of plastic used as food containers. Mine had honey in them :D. Actually today I got 50 of them for free. I called the manufacturer and told that I would like to buy some of these containers, but when I heard that I gotta buy 1500, I got a little bit shocked. But I was proposed a sample of 50 for free! :D Hell yeah! But they left me with one problem - they forgot to send me the lids for the jars! And now I'm missing like 50 of them. I'll contact the producer of the jars tomorrow and ask them for another favor. And if I get the lids, I'll be able to get on with agar ;).

Oh BTW - the mexicanae has germinated. I'll shoot some pics ASA the myc grows so I can catch it with my Cybershot phone (which isn't a real digital camera). Damn, I wish I could shoot some good macros.

ATL#7 is coming along nicely. Doesn't this grain look too dry?

Fat syringes from the Sporeworks rock!

The others are also showing some white fluff but aren't that vigorous. Pix soon.

Update.

The three friends are:

Mex Jalisco, ATL#7, Mex A

Although Mex A is the slowest one, the myc is really thick - I like it:rasta:.

What do you think about the grain? Looks dry to me and looks like the growth has slowed down - particularly in the ATL#7 ;/. You can see some uncolonized, dry grain on top.

Most ppl use rye grass seed both to grow sclerotia and fruits - works fine. I used rye berries because they're tastier than rye grass seed :P. That's because eating sclerotia always means eating some substrate, therefore you don't wanna grow it on verm.
