I looked in the archives and didn't find anything there so I was hoping someone could assist me.
Also, what's he difference between a hepa and ulpa and can a ulpa be used for a flowhood if its rated 99.99% @ .001 microns?

I'd say use a sponsor here if possible, but I don't think any of them carry HEPA's. I got mine from fungi perfecti.
On the ULPA thing, I don't know if you would be able to get enough flow through one of those. But that's just a guess.

3m filtrete ultra micro allergen furnace filters will work just fine..trust me, LC's anything,, i dont know about agar work, but anything else has never had a problem.. it is very usefull, for air exchange taped over jars, to cover your holes in bins ''neglect'' :)

do you have to get a huge blower to use a 12" thick filter? Those seem like some awesome deals!
