Captain:

I took the time to upload your pics to the post, if I had not the links would become dead and this thread would not look nearly as good. I hope you don't mind. If you do let me know.

Great thread, great pics.

One other thing is you can u/l ten at a time as MJ mentioned, you had 11 pics on there so the last one needs to be reposted.

Update 7.03 20h CET:
I really can't tell if the gills do have spores. It's hard to see. The gills are (luckily) not 'Sterile white' it's more a grey tone.
I've seen this on some Semilanceatas, too. I hope they will drop some spores.

The fruitbodies doesn't look perfect, but not so heavy malformed/aborted like the early cultures on the shroomery.
And they really could be Samuiensis, Stamets writes about 'chestnut/ reddish brown' fruits when young.

Let's wait and see...

Stamets based his description on my photograph which he used uin his book, the caps colors vary greatly.

Lil' update from 8a.m. (march 8):

The gills look a bit like if they are carrying spores. But no visible spores at the stem or somewhere.

I have spores! I have spores! I have spores!!!!

The spores look a bit reddish- brown, not so dark black purple as the usual Psilocybe Spores.

And the new fruitbodies look so nice, they have a more caramel color. But look for yourself :)

Thanx!
Todays pix show the last fruits of the first flush. It took around 2weeks to finish, lets hope there will be more. I put a little casing soil on the surface to fit the holes.

I took 3 prints and 2small ones on one foil. One looks a little better than the first and is also a little darker.

And I made fisheye shots for your pleasure. (but surely there not that impressive with such a little culture.)

See for yourself:

I released the caps from the foil and unfortunatelly I was mistaken, they are very dense. But look a little darker now.

if you won't upload pix
then this thread is a waste of space
as it will not be saved
and once the links break
it will be discarded.
so
if you value your time spent posting this
then take time to upload pix .

You have received an infraction at Mycotopia Web Forums

Reason: IMG Linking Offsite

Message understood. I only post again, when I have the time to upload all the pix a second time on your server.

Jawohl, mein Herr ;)

Does that mean I won't forget ? Sounds kind of like a double meaning reference...

No, no.
This 'infraction' really is something typical german to me.
So I said "Yes, Sir" in german which is kinda 'Jawohl, mein Herr'.

You know they mean it for real. They rather accept to loose members even if they grow exotic Psilocybes than willing to accept that it's sometimes more easy to upload pix just once (when posting them in other communities).
On the other hand I did upload pix to mycotopia. But sometimes their system doesn't work. Then you get only broken links instead of thumbs. And due to a kind of shitty sys I can't find the links of the uploaded pix again to repost.

And being the whole day really busy with my kids, I am sometimes not in the mood to spare an extra 15minutes on doing the same upload shit again on a different server. (I mean its not 1 picture, it were often more than 15)

But I can understand the point here. I am also interested in seeing the pix in a few years.
It's just not the right way to give 'infractions' linked with a thread to close down the account.

Whatever, I will take the time in the future.
