WBS jars - 2 weeks into colonization, 15% colonized....slow....dry....what to do?

This is kind of weird.

All jars got 10 CCs...maybe 6..and 1 jar got no water (it was merely reshaken)

The one that was given no water and only shaken probably had 30% colonization
The others were given 10CCs and were shaken

There really is no standing water, and very minimal 'puddles' on the grains (you know, when you see a grain touching the glass, and sometimes you see a water puddle around the grain/on the glass)

The colonization of the ones that got water is so much slower than the one that didn't get water. The ones that got water on average had 25% colonization and then were shaken up after being given water.

It's almost as if all the jars needed was a good shake...or maybe the water injected in the jars was way too hot (near boiling - I know, I know, it was dumb but I didn't care) - but still, the water was injected in a localized spot - it's not like it's going to kill all mycelium in the jar!...

So, not sure why the water-injected ones are slow to recover...although they do seem to be starting recovering, although just starting after 4 days (the one not given water started recovering 2 days after)
