there is a way to do it w/out scales.
you need bone dry boomers... a coffee grinder and some empty "00" gel caps.
grind up your boomers into fine powder using the coffee grinder.
pack as much powder as you can into a "00" gel cap by using a tamping tool of some sort.
when filled to capacity, each "00" gelcap is a half gram.
hopefully you can do the math from there.
or you can approximate it based on something you know that weighs an 1/8th. for example, 7 nickels weigh one 1/8th because one nickel weighs 5 grams. use your imagination from there.

and while you are ordering you gel caps, order a scale too :)

7 nickels does NOT way an 1/8th. 7 nickels is 35 grams, over an ounce. 1 nickel is more than an eighth. Don't eat 7 nickels worth, you'd be tripping balls for a long long time.

Obviously it can go a gram or two in either direction since many variations in sizes and shapes....but like mentioned above they are only cubies so 3.5 or 4g or even 5 isn't gonna kill ya, just might catch ya a lil off guard though.

An eighth of dried cubes (3.5). I now the pics suck. I know pretty well how to judge my doses while eating dry cubes. Is it true that you just move the decimal one space (x 10) for dosing on fresh fungus?

Roughly 90% of shrooms wet is water. Yeah they say that roughly if you have 30 wet grams you will end up with about 3 dry. It isn't an exact science however. Also, freshies can be a bit stronger that dry, especially depending on how they are dried. If they are dried using heat for example they will greatly decrease in potency. If they are dried the correct way, a lot of people say that they will retain almost all of their potency.
