Anything :D. Temps, substrate depth and so on. Your grow is perfect or nearly perfect so it's worth to know all the details that made it so good.
SWIM has a few jars of these as well on rye berries and he wanted to make use out of them soon. Unfortunately his jars colonize pretty slowly so he still has got some time till he uses the spawn, but he doesn't want to mess things up :).

Okay well, first thing I did is not use jars as spawn, but instead ..make substrate.. fill jar ,innoculate, incubate and fill the tray !
I have good reason to believe that this will give better results, because the mushroom myc. can really 'control' the substrate this way...
(Could be wrong tho..lol)

Substrate depth is aboud 5 cm...

The casing layer depth is 1cm with a little verm topping (that was added after collonizing) and incubated for +- 11 days maybe two weeks, not really sure.

Temperature in the Terrarium is around 26-27oC.
Rh is aboud 98 % with two air bubbler running 24 hours a day in two warm water tanks (for air and humidity)
No perilite is used.
I ventilated the whole terrarium 2 times a day aswell.

I hope this is any help to you..! :rasta:

Probably have new pics tommorow !

It sure is. SWIM has about 2 pounds of rye in the jars so it should be enough to get some fruits and prints ;).

Thx and keep on updating it. Mexicanas are beautiful and you've done'em perfectly :].

Great job space, and beautifull photos! Could you please elaborate on your grain prep? You cook the grassseed in calciumated water, then simply add the verm, brf, fill jars and pc`? Or do you add some water to it too, perhaps soak the seeds for some time? Basically i would love to hear your step by step grain prep. Ill be starting jalisco too, once i have a good producing atlanta7 strain isolated.

Right Kocos..I cooked the seeds in water and calcium for 30 minutes.
Use atleast three times as much water compared to the seeds...,because they can hold twice as much water as there own mass/volume.

After the cooking I discard the water and add verm (for get rid of the stickiness) and brf.

Then I filled the jars and pressure cooked for aboud 70 minutes.
That's all..but I mixed in some more sterilized verm. in when filling the tray.

I do not add water after straining and I do not soak the seeds before pressure cooking, that's not needed because there so small.
