and i was in the vaults today
asearchin' and alookin'
and i have a better idea than before (praise be the mushroom god)
i will now be colonizing in mycrotopia wbs quart jars
(http://www.mycrotopi...om%20Substrates)
then spawning to 50/50 coir/donkey poo (rez-effect variant)
and casing with coir...
now that my growroom is ready to be ordered, i would like to thank everyone for submitting and answering my questions
i will be starting another thread on the rez-effect variant procedure to make sure everything goes well with that
the final plan on the growtent is:
6' x 6' growtent
opening one-two vents and tyveking it
using the usonic humdifier to clean/humidify
using a convection heater to heat the entire basement to optimal temp
plastic rubbermaid shelving
kitty litter bins (or large aluminum foil pans with lids that are poked and covered via micropore tape)
:headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:
one step closer..... !!!!!!!
thank you so much

1) clear box tape- 6 pack 12$
2) pvc piping for a room lets say 10x13. 100$ or under a bit. go with 1/2" pvc piping.
3) sewer hose-10$ for 20 feet. get two boxes just in case. so 20$
4) 5 gallon paint bucket and lid. 5$.
5) 5ml clear or black plastic get 3 rolls or so. lets say these are 10$ each. so 30$.
6) a room size hepa with built in ionizer from walmart. 30$. you could get a cage fan but its not needed. the hepa will give you enough output on a 20 minutes every two hour run cycle.
7) clear rubbermaid that will fit your hepa. 10$
8) ultrasonic pond fogger with floating devide. 50$.
http://www.mainlandm...om/foggers.html
9) intermatic timer and some extension chords if needed. 25$.
http://www.intermati...&cid=43&sid=114
10) if you have a window you can use natural daylight. but if you want get some cheap fluorescent lighting. so add 30$.
Total Cost around 300-315$. And this is for a roomsize setup. May vary a bit depending on size of room and how much pvc piping you need to buy but some of these esitmations are over a bit. foaf got away with 200$ flat for a 10x13 room. but this was years ago when things were cheaper.

finally found some old pics of my rig.
this one fogger unit has 6 total greenhouses setup to it. 4 greenhouses and 2 martha stuart closets.
this is for reference from the above illustration i had on a previous post.
you can see the hepa unit attached to the box to the left. this is pushing hepa filtered air into the 5 gallon bucket. this 5 gallon bucket has the ultrasonic fogger in it. it is then pumped out through the sewer hose into the greenhouses. rh is regulated at valve opening into each martha stuart closet rigged to it. also intermatic timer on the wall. i don't recall the name of the black splitter for the sewer hose. but it should be available at home depot near the venting and heating section. or near sewer hose at walmart or the rv section. you may have to search but there are even trap door valves that sit right at the point of entry of each martha.
also below are some other methods used in the past for rigging up humidity to chambers and such.
here you can see the greyish attachment for the back of the chamber. just look around you can find these things at hardware stores. flange
a side view of the shelving in a martha stuart with some amazon trays
the rig was running these cat litter trays like this. 2 per shelf.
some really old concepts
