Well this is a test to see if WBS can be steamed sterilized like i do my pf jars.Success or failure no matter its only a test.

WBS was soaked with a bit of lime for about 20 hours.Rinsed an simmered for a bit.then rinsed more. The lids have tyvek an poly.I just keep the aluminum foil over them for precaution. or should i ?

The jars were shot with F+ LC .

I'd remove the aluminum foil east. They'll need a little FAE. :)

you might get lucky. youd stand much less of a chance had u not started with live-culture.
i hope you didnt use partially colonized LC/too much of the liquid inoculant! looks good so far tho :)

question--
why [and how?] are you using both tyvek AND polyfil ???

pointer--
i highly suggest removin the foil and using a clean paper towl or tyvek as a dust guard instead
u shouldnt need to use anything.. it may even be best to not use anything in this situation :eusa_snoo
just dont sneeze on em and you should be a-ok :p good luck man :meditate:

EDIT: There is no tyveck EW don't know what the hell he was thinking. The jars were steamed/boiled for one hour.

I put two coffee filters over the poly after inoculation then put the foil back on.

OK the foil has been taken off.I can see a bit of condensation in the jars but the WBS doesn't look wet.EW used a whole syringe of the f+ lc .

After drawing up the syringes they were observed. The syringes had mycelium in them plus a good bit water as do spore syringes.

The picture of the f+ lc was taken about one week before being used to inoculate the WBS .Next time he want be using a quart jar an 500ml he will use a pint jar an 250ml water since all he ever really needs is a few syringes.

WBS test continues....

Thanks for the responses folks.

EW has read threw the years that you have to have a pc to use wbs .EW wants to make sure you have to have a pc to do wbs before he goes buys a pc .EW finds the pf tek or manipulation of the pf tek can give plenty of enough fruits for personal use.EW hasn't found a great need to get a pc .

LW420 thread has been updated.
