
First Bulk Try - Hillbilly

So my 1st grow went pretty well, PF tek and got plenty of boomers off them http://mycotopia.net...-mush-grow.html ........So I decided to step it up to bulk..........Got 10lbs of some pasteurised horse poo, used half of it, spawned with some hillbilly cakes that had been waiting on me......Heres them after about 48 hours........What ya'll think?

nice, they are pretty much colonized. :headbang: just waiting for the pins?
They still got a bit to go, the pics just make it look more colonized cause there is a thin layer of the crumbled cakes on the surface to help it along and protect against contams.

but might absorb unwanted metals
so pyrex / glass is better, imo.

If you have a bit of hydrated lime to nutralize the peat's acidity - would be good..
Will still work without though, it just helps reduce mold spore germination..

Keep very humid till cased then drop to 85%

Totally plan on it. I know this is a lazy gustion, when round about should I see my first pin? My pf cakes came quick like 3 days?

should be fine unless temp goes over 105*F-
stay in the shade.
Thnaks that good to here. It wont get above 93 for the next couple days and they are in complete shade.

Well it hard to get them more airflow cause they are outside. But the FC has 100's of holes drilled into it. I would assume the natural breeze would give them plenty of FAE?
