i have 3 fully colonized 0.5litre jars(PE) and im planning to make bulk sub for em.the hpoo/coco coir/verm mix is soaked during the night and tomorrow i will spawn it(after the pasteurization).
im thinking about the wet towel tek(its 29-30oC outside) or just do a simple monotub project inside(23-24oC).maybe i should keep the setup outside during the day, and move it inside during the night...hmm:eusa_thin
i want the best to my little friends:pirate:
any advice?

Codename: PE in monotub:)

foaf is doing monotub inside and he says that it has been the easiest grow by far!:headbang:
the humidity is perfect and the air exchange happens magically. you should go for it.maybe flush inside then when it contams take it outside ...just don't forget the thrash bag that goes underneath like foaf did.:rasta:
walmart has 73q sterilite bins for 4.50 they are one color and come with a lid... they are awesome: you don't need tape to cover the sub from light, they come with a lid but you should use foil over it while it colonizes which should take five days, then remove the foil and place saranwrap over the bin...if using the cheap stuff and it doesn't stick .. a glue stick comes in handy:eusa_clap.oh yah! for the sub he uses 14 cups each of straw, verm, and coir to that i add four cups of hpoo or cpoo this mix will give you around a 4 inch sub.
goodluck

i made the monotub with 4inches deep substrate(hpoo/coir/verm). the tub has approx 10-12 holes(1inch wide) stuffed with polyfill, now its colonizing at room temp.pics will come and im gonna keep this updated.

i give 1-2more days, cuz the substrate is 4inch deep and i want it to be fully colonized before the pinning.
is it a good idea?
