question about spawn bags.

assuming one has the "large" bags, how much is too much spawn to use in the bags? they can hold quite a lot, what's the most & average amount in weight one puts in a large bag.

also how much LC does one usually use (per weight)?

I got a Harbor freight store nearby, I should see if they can get em' without the shipping cost. he sealer I got sucks balls!!! good thing I didnt pay for it. Stay away from the "eurosealer", it doesent work at all, it's crap, stay away!

FOAF got a 16 inch Impulse sealer (with a rebuild kit) off eBay for $23.

i went to kohl's and picked up a vacuum sealer for 50 bucks, they have one for 40 bucks too...

its like a heated bar that seals up bags by melting the two parts of the bag together. Some have vacuums on them some dont. If it has a vacuum its a vacuum impulse sealer. Anyways its for myco bags and such.

Does anyone have experience growing any psilocybe strains in any manufacturer's pre-made spawn bags? I'm a newbie here, so if this has been addressed before, please forgive me. If you had success, with what strain, what kind of bag, and with what kind of timeline?

spawn bags should be fine, it's the substrate that counts, bags are just a container

Yes, exactly like those. How does that work? Can one use syrines and squirt them directly into a bag, then see colonization and growth, or is there a step I'm missing? Are there simple TEKS that I don't know about? I'm quite ignorant of fungi matters.

those bags are pastuerized cow poo/coir. I spawned them with colonzied WBS, and I dont recomend trying to innoc them with spores or LC. Basicaly, grow out a bunch of quart jars of WBS from your syringes and then make a bunch of these bags....
