im wanting to do 20 or more bags since ive ordered the bags they have sat in the back of the closet.
ive heard to mix coir/malt extract syrup/ calcium carb but at what volumes i dont know cause the tek was never finish. i know the malt extract was for "N" and the calcium carb was for ph.

Mortho's great tek: good first read for invitro bag growing.

Thread about using coir in Mortho's OBIRE tek:

My guess would be to do a wbs/coir mix substrate in the bags somehow. Might be your best bet at getting nutrient rich mycelium able to fruit more than one flush.
Good luck!

That's the main reason I suggested a mix of wbs/coir.
Have you considered Hippie's Supercake Formula, with coir substituting for verm?

2 blocks of coir placed into a 5gallon bucket,
pour on 2 cups of malt syrup,
1 cup of karo light with vanilla,
2TBSP of calc carb,
4TBSP of USED dry coffee grinds,
3-4quarts of Vermiculite,
this next one: (optional, just started using it, 1qt of wormcasting)
THEN, fill bucket to 2/3rds full of BOILING hot water. place on lid"pasteurize 2hrs".
strain with pillow cases or other method of your choice.
squeeze out to field capacity "few drips continously when squeezed really hard"
i do a 1qt rye grain to 3 qts substrate.

I would add some poo or castings to the mix and maybe some straw to lighten it up...coir alone with all that syrupy shit I think is gonna make a gooey substrate which wont be very good at all...add some verm to it and some vegetable oil ....I have a recipe if you want it but it has many ingredients in it...
