also, the 2nd bin is starting to pin. it was isolated about 10% got hit with the mean green but it was dealt with quickly. im finding this ape to be more risilliant than the pf classic. many times on bulk subs the pf classic kinda dwindles on to death and doesn't colonize the substrate. and often, its very slow. even slower than this. the spawn run was just about normal speed compared to most cubensis.
bin 3 had some uncolonized areas under the substrate get hit with green mold. it sucks bc that one had all the sprouts in it. and it looked extra fluffy white. fluffier than this sub. but its about 5% left of the subs. but hopefully that one little piece will fruit lol.. waste of space if you ask me but this strain is so cool that ill let it slide...lol..

the stems are very solid at this point, not spongy at all like the pf classic.

here is the pulverized mycelia in a 60 cc syringe after 9er tek cloning.

i am still finding less air exchange required than all other strains side by side. its only being fanned once a day. and it seems to be maturing at a regular speed. a bit slower than most strains but on line with pf classic.

they looked fine and healthy until about day 5 into fruiting. too busy atm. just not enough time to give em the tlc.
so last night from the time of evening when they looked fine until this morning they looked like this so all it took was 8 hours and they tanked. they were fanned decent last night but doesn't seem like it worked much. probably time to harvest now. or do you guys think i should let em be another day?
the caps are turning black and some of them look spotty. like the original color of the caps kind of a greyish yellow color. then turned black.

right now the bin is just sitting open air with the lid off in the room with the fan. lets see if about 20 minutes of this helps out in a few hours. we will fan the hell out of these for the next 8 hours str8. but not really able to fan during the day.

Their potency makes up for their size, they'd be compared to copelandia like i said.
which makes them pretty valuable to me!

im looking at monstermitchs pics and i see a few caps doing this very same thing. hmm. but most of his caps stayed the white color. these initially were a greyish color. the other tub has grey pins as well.
