I agree Hippie, brf jars work as well as grain for spawning to bulk substrates.
One cake really crumbled good spawns as much as a pint of grains ime.
I haven't seen Cheffy post in a while either, hope all is well for him.

well ya kinda, not.....
it started on brf and went so slow I transfered it to rye,and it took off like the house was on fire, then spawned that grain to compost.
the other brf jars that were started at the same time as the ones that started this are still on the shelf in the back room and havent made an edible fruit yet
and FYI these mushies sucked !!! Ive eaten handfulls of them and havent got a good trip yet..........PE6? PESUX!!

Finally got to work on it a while back. Very, very nice!!! No isolations needed there!
Anybody else notice the really strong odor from these?
I don't remember the old PE smelling like these do.
