My first flush on the below cake was mentioned in another thread, regarding the minishrooms that had grown, approx 2" at best, but fully developed. The flush in general was overall below any reasonable standards (other than something actually growing besides trich) and I honestly didn't expect a second flush. A week passed, no pins. Not a sign of primordia was to be found. I then decided to go ahead and dunk it. I never dunked it when I originally birthed it from the jar because when it first popped out, I sprayed it and a better part of the cake turned blue. Having not personally witnessed it before, I figured that it could be detrimental and decided on just light sprays and letting the RH of the FC do the job. In hindsight, improper mycellial moisture may have been the original culprit.

The below pics are three different angles of the same cake, only three days after dunking it and then, only dunking it for a few hours. :heart: It's ksss on WBS.

Trich got the other five. Agar to Grain transfer with the six jars. It was probably during the transfer process that trich got in as the dishes from which I took the wedges were immaculate.

24 hours later. Seems they're gonna be shorties again. Biggest one on the left will be breaking veil probably sometime tonight. This doesn't seem to be characteristic of ksss, at least in terms of other grow logs that I have seen. Well, if they're anything like the first flush, which wasn't half of this, they'll be heavy. Stems are nearly solid.

well at least the stems are not hollow. looking nice
is there anyway to help promote solid stems not hollow ones?

That is a damned respectable flush from a WBS cake.

Mushrooms are 90% water and WBS doesn't hold a lot of water - I would think a dunk would be hyper critical with a WBS cake.
