hey scout can you please upload this image to the site? any directions?
It's a bunch of images since it's an 'instructable.'
It would certainly be preferable to actually build an alcohol stove and post a how-to here directly than to link to someone else's, but sometimes the info provided by sites like that is really useful, so I'm wondering how we should handle these things in general. It's not technically an off-site image link, but has the same chance of becoming a dead link as images hosted off-site though it might be problematic to copy it all here. :eusa_thin

Well, 'burning at a low temperature' is relative. It's certainly hot enough to kill potential contaminants on a needle or scalpel; sterilizing tools over alcohol lamps is still a common practice in microbiology.
I saw a post somewhere on how to make one of these lamps. Any step by steps on how to this guys ? benn wanting to make one for ages and my lighter collection is slowy dwindling.

This is a super thin alcohol fueled stove that can fit in your pocket. With it filled to the top, it burns for about 20 min., or enough to boil half a gallon of soup for 3 people. :)
step 1Get The Materials.
All you need is:
A soda can
Sauce can top
A pair of scissors or a razor.....
Cut the can on the brown line.
step 3Holy push!
Now you have to push in the concave part on the can and pop holes
step 4Force it in
Now put your finished masterpiece in the cover.
step 5fill and burn
start it up
