Here are a few photographs from my latest Pan Cyan Goliath project. I used mostly walitjims pan cyan tek with a few substitutions for things that I was unable to obtain.
I sterilized the substrate in a mycobag and inoculated it with lc made from light malt extract and dextrose.

Rocket man: The substitutions that were made were: I used a manure mixture that is composed of horse, cow, chicken, sheep and I think turkey I will have to check. And instead of using the cactus soil to case I used an organic promix that has shrimp compost in it. The rest remained the same.

I wish the pics were a little better, but I ended up taking them after a night of meeting with some very friendly cactus.

One thing that I did notice as bluehelix had mentioned is that they do better when the casing layer is left to overlay. The section on the left where there is not many mushrooms was the last part of the casing to colonize. It was no where near as colonized as the part where the majority of the mushrooms grew. Next time I will leave it till it is all overlayed about the same and them place it in the fruiting chamber.

My fruiting chamber is very simple, it is just a tub with about three inches of pearlite in the bottom and it has a hole cut in the lid with a plexiglass window. I just take the top off and fan for fresh air. I also have the tub placed on a heat mat like the ones that are designed for rooting cuttings and germinating seeds.

Yes it is a store bought. I live in Canada and there is a brand called president's choice, it is sold under that brand name.
Just a correction as to what types of poo it contains. They are as follows:
Turkey, cow, horse, hog and chicken.

Thats the same way I feel about them Matt! After you try them is when you will want to make them part of your regular grows.
