Total weight after three flushes from the two cakes, monotub, and tray ended up at exactly 124.6 grams. Not Bad. I hit my goal. Never again will I simply case grain. Bulk substrates are the way to go. Now if only I could get the sterility issues down associated with using pf jars as master jars. Maybe I need to build a kickass glovebox with a hepa filter and all sorts of shit to help out my successs rates. I really have no idea. Next grow will utilize many of the concepts I have learned, but I plan on throwing in some more elements... I ripped up too much mycelium for the subsequent flushes to produce as they should have. Maybe. I really don't know. All I know is that the 4 inches of substrate ended up being only about 2.5 inches at the end, even with dunking between flushes. Maybe utilize nutes in my dunks for later runs? I'll just have to try everything I can.

for sterility issues a FOAF highly suggest the schmuvbox!! take yourself a big clear trashbag and tape it around the output of a hepa blower (walmart 30 bucks max) FOAF does everything in that thing. He even knows of some people who sold their flowhood. Takes about 30 seconds to construct. Tape it, cut a viewing slit and a couple arm holes. Spray some lysol and iso in the bag once it's inflated and let it evaporate. I would clean the hepa blower from head to toe with iso first as well. Positive pressure keeps airflow blowing out the viewing slit. My FOAF loves it. No contam issues thus far, and before he was having some major contamination problems.
