Think i got a Problem.

I started some jars 3 weeks ago, and most are at about 80% colonized, the problem is they are pinning, i suppose i checked them 2 much(about 4 times)

How should I address this situation? Ive Never had this problem before. Its my first time growing golden teacher, is this strain somehow more sensitive to light or something?

-thanks

GT tends to premature Pin. Best advice I can give you is to fruit those that are pinning as the mycelium will still colonize the rest of the way or you can wait till they are a lil more colonized and then fruit. More or less the chice here is yours bro.

Don't you think birthing the jars now will expose uncolonized substrate to contams?

If he does birth them I would recommend washing the uncolonied substrate off of the cake and dunk and roll.

I would spawn them to coir or poo

Leave them in the jar and let the pins grow until the jar is fully colonized. Letting the pins develop will not hurt anything. Opening the jar with uncolonized substrate will invite contams.

One of these choices is safe, the other is not.

BTW: Got any pics?

Yeah totally leave those in the jars. You are so close to 100% colonization.
