anyone ever have this happen to them ?

i added some regular tap water to a bag of WBS (same brand i always use) , and the water instantly turned an intense seafoam green color . i think there are copper salts this color . . . maybe copper chloride and copper sulfate . any ideas ? i also noticed that this bag had most of the sunflower seeds opened whereas they are usually closed .

Copper salt of some sort, probably.
Rinse it well, it's a fungicide.
