Yeah everything was exactly the same. The strain that I had success with was B+ and all went really well then I used the exact same method with Mexi-cub and it just would not colonise, same ratio same everything. I did forget to leech the coir the first try with Mexi-cub but was told it shouldn't be a problem as people on here have used coir without leeching with great results. I tried again with Mexi-cub form the same batch of jars and this time leeched the coir, so everything was done exactly how I done the first time round with the B+ and again the Mexi-cub would not colonise the coir.
