Hey Topia,
I just finished my last round of WBS G2G transfers for this grow. I will be making 2 Straw/Castings/Verm logs. They will be 67" long and made out of 10" diameter plastic air ducting from fungi.com.
One of them will be a regular log. The other will have cardboard tubes (from gift wrap rolls) filled with dry vermiculite running down the center of the log. The cardboard vermiculite channel will be allowed to drain at the bottom and I will be able to water it from the top. I will only start watering it once the log is 100% colonized.
If the experiment works out well I will write it up as a nice tek, and move to a larger grow based on the same concept (30-120 King Trumpet logs).
Hurry up little grain jars! Colonize Faster!!!
Blessings,
Oakchild

Vertical, and hanging in my closet.
If I do the larger grow, I will build an outdoor wood frame room and wrap it in black plastic (Clear plastic on the ceiling). I will probably use PVC pipe to make a domed roof to shed water.
Blessings,
