Using Highflyer's guide in the vaults, what size holes should be drilled into the pvc? Should I open the gh at all for air exchange?

I think they are 1/4 inch....

I get all the fresh air I needs from the ultrasonic and when i open the gh to check on them nightly...

1/4" works fine.

The size of the holes in the pvc does not have much significance. It it possible to just pump the humidity into the greenhouse from the end of the pvc.

The ultrasonic will provide "adequate" air exchange, but your performance will be improved if you open it up once a day and let it air out.

Something else is that if you double up the greenhouses, meaning 8 racks per greenhouse, and you keep it full of casings, then you can eliminate humidifiers from the equation.

That amount of substrate in that size area will keep the humidity high enough on its own.

Just give the casings a good spray 1 week after initially casing them.

I just foolishly destroyed the humidifier, drilled a hole on top for water refill and all spilled out. Tips on humidifying till I order a replacement?

dunno if that will work, i drilled a hole in my tank once before too and water spilled out the bottom, i patched the hole and it never was the same again.... it would randomly let all the water out...

Guess I'll spray the inside of gh and maybe put moist perlite on bottom, other ideas for higher ghetto humidity?
