Thank You Very Much Nunyabiz..I would not say they are any more difficult to grow then cubensis, just a few differenences. They need that casing layer unlike cubensis, they love lots of fresh air,and they really love the poo. They do like it a bit warmer with a higher humidity, but just like cubensis, will do fine with a bit less then ideal conditions, something I did not know myself until spacecake told me to relax.Thank You...I thought they were very demanding on there conditions, but as it turns out this is not really the case.I have these fruiting in the same green house as all my cubensis projects. The conditions have been 80-90% humidity and 73-78°F.I may have had better luck if I had of had the conditions a bit warmer and a bit more humid, but for anyone like myself who is limited on space, you can get descent results with Pan's using your existing cubensis setup. Those are looking incredible Dr H. I can't wait to get strated on the goliaths.. Never eaten anything but cubensis.. Would love to eat some pans.. I've had a print for a little while now.. I just need some H-poo..

What factor would be most likely to cause them to grow tall and skinny with small caps?
FOAF says temp might be a little low or not enough FAE but isn't sure what
to adjust since it's his/her first time with them.
Sorry I don't have better details than that. Any input will be passed along.
Thanks

Can't wait to hear the average shroom weight for this one too. What are the dimensions? (sorry but I don't know the size of the coin?)
And, approximately what substrate depth did you use this time (also for the Sandose and Vietnam grows)?

I did not take a wet weight for the Goliath's,but I can tell you the were far larger then the Sandose were that's for sure. The coin used is a Canadian Two Dollar Coin and is a little over an inch.As you can see the one cap is quite a bit larger still.Very cool, once again.

The substrate depth on the Goliath's was only around 2 inches max, where both the Sandose and Vietnam's were closer to 4 inches.
