How do you know when these are ready to pick?
I think the weak pinset was becuase it took so long to pin that the straw dried out.

if you wanna try and get some
pints from those PE let them keep
going(over maturation) until you see them
dropping spores on the stalk...thats how
i get all my prints...

Hmmmmm, maybe one of ya will wanna trade a pe print???????? I'd be happy to consider some other spores to trade for an original pe print. Or whatever else was wated to trade.

That large pin got fat,not real tall but was over an inch in dia.it looked kinda like a big toe it was 21g wet

Hoping for a better one to clone in next flush.
Or on the P.E. spawned h-poo/straw/w-casting/coffee-grounds/ cactus mix tray that will be ready to fruit in a few days.
Still waiting for pins on the Pan Goliath.

So PJ have you gotten some good PE print before.?? and How Good a Rate actually produce spores?? and any Distinctive looking mushrooms To look for like Wider Caps??....I remember when you grew them before on a log back on the old board....and some asshole stole your pics and posted them on OG and took credit for it.
Badass Job on those PE nugs you got going there Red_Lense. Nothing Like the ecstasy of a great PE trip!!

Are tyou gonig to try any cloning?? The Pe I cloned before had better flushes and weight compared to the multi spore. Nice Job

Bob, yep there's a pretty good sized one
that will get cloned to a couple half pints of rye then quarts made from them.
The cap is about the size of a nickle and starting to darken in the gills,so hopefully there will be a few prints as well.

i've only gotton a limited amount of spores
actually hence the "gold" thing...lol..i would
say only about 10% usually drop spores...and
the prints are really never dark at all...and yeah
the bigger the cap the more spores are dropped..
i usually wait until i see the mushroom sporeulating
on the stipe then proceed to take prints..:)
