Most people know but, I found these pics and figured i'd put them in this forum for people that don't know how to tell the difference between a male and female Marijuana plant.

The first pic is the male plant- The flowers for this plant appear to look like a bundle of grapes at first sight. Then the pods will open and then begin to grow, eventually pollenating.

The 2nd is the female plant- The flowers for this plant will have 2-4 white pixels petruding as soon as budding is induced. Then the buds will begin to grow out from these spots.

The tops of the plants are the first areas to show these signs once budding is induced....

The first pic is male (The little round ball looking things). The secong is a Female (The yellow looking Hairs). You might want to get rid of the male if you want higher potency and no seeds in your finished product.

I would but, i'm terrible with the Photo Shop stuff and all that mess. Shit, I can't even import the pics to Photo shop, much less circle the areas. LOL!

Can someone circle them for us for a better and easier discription?

females are easy, the white hairs are a ded give-away.
early male pre-flowers are harder, as they often just look like new growth tips
fully developed males are easy, look like little bunch of grapes

Also once you've done this a few times you can SMELL male plants. They have a sharp, astringent, almost citrus-like odor. You still have to send them into the flower room but you can usually catch them before any real male flowers form.

On a side note.
Once you do identify your males please do me a favor and keep checking those females for male flowers. I had one turn hermi on me and I did not find till this week. Needless to say 1/2 my room is covered with dust. So expect more seed trades coming in january.
