Psilocybe Semperviva Multispore culture in Unicorn Mycobag T3.
- Multispore culture, Sporeprint by "The Chosen One" (Mycotopia)
- Spores inoculated directly into Grain spawn
- Rye grain spawn (17days)
- Sterilized (2,5hrs.) Substrate mix: Straw 70%, Horse manure 15%, Grass Seed (div. called 'Spiel & Sportrasen') 15% (11 days)
- 2cm Casing layer: Pot Flower Soil, pasteurized
- Temperatures: Spawn 27-28 Degr. Celsius, Fruiting 23-24 Degr. Celsius
- Pins 13 days after casing was applied.

Comments:
The mycelium is strong and fast growing. And seem to be very resistent to contamination.
The casing soil wasn't colonised to the surface, the primordia form from white thick spots which look through the casing soil.
The stems are wood like and very hard to cut and are not breakable.
My fruitbodies differ from those of TCO and Workman, perhaps due to light or CO2 levels. (I use plastic boxes with synthetic wool plugs and only natural light. (only 8-9hours due to winter time and not very bright)

Thanks a lot for your kind words.
I am currently working on a dozen other 'active' species and lots of edibles, too. (I finished my lab & growing room in our new house) I'll post much more in the future.

And you SHOULD get started on them, they are a lovely species and not very difficult to grow.

What I would do for a lab :(
I cant wait to see the rest of your cultivation tests :) I'm currently working on villaieri and zapotecorum but I don't think I'm going to excel, have you tried them? being secondary decomposers they are a lil more difficult but I'll see how I go.

wow! absolutely beautiful! :eusa_clap they do look a little different, but wonderful none the less. just made my day to see this Captain.

i made one attempt at Zap's after Semper. got a few fruits, nothing spectacular.. then had to shut down all hobbies for a while too. i'll try that Samui print you sent along with another run of Zap's very soon.

heh, after seeing this i'm thinking of making some agar tonight!!!

great post my friend.. destined for the vaults!

Lipstick.. for those Zap's try PF cakes subbing BRF for millet and a little gypsum in the casing layer. ;) everything fruits on millet.
