It is terrorism!

God damn right it is!

Terrorism is universally hated, it is the scourge of our time!

There should be no quarter for terrorists, we will hunt them to the ends of the earth!!

But, before I go to the woodshed for my pitchfork (a back up to my carbine (Duh). . . but you know. . . theatrics and all. . .), and man a road block so my co-conspirators and I can root out these scoundrels, and without a doubt put the fear of Eugene Stoner (and god. . . of course), into anyone who might need to use the rural roads in my area, do you mind telling us all what specifically is the terrorism you speak of?

Also, I'd like a little advice if you don't mind.

Does this brown shirt compliment the blue of my eyes?

I don't normally fret over fashion, but I'd like to look sharp, so no one confuses me with a terrorist.
um... people lighting fires on other peoples property ?? What are we talking about here? I was agreeing with what I believe was One who was saying It is like terrorism.

Cool. . .So no evidence. . .Just baseless claims. . .Then a back track. . .And pointing to someone else. . . Who, did leave some room (but not much) for there to be doubt. . .

Well, listen up.  This is happening in MY COMMUNITY.

Anyone spreading baseless claims about this particular issue, is putting folks in my community in danger, including myself. So needless to say, it pisses me right the fuck off.

Local law enforcement, and the FBI have made statements, to say there is NO evidence of what you are calling terrorism, is even happening. They have asked that people stop spreading this bullshit, because, not only is it not true, but you are also wasting resources that could otherwise go towards helping victims of this very real disaster.

It might not be real to you, behind your screen. But I can assure you it is very real to me, and those that I love. I currently have my important documents, and most valued possessions, along with food, first aide gear, and guns (to protect myself, and loved ones, from jack wagons who buy into this bullshit), packed up by the door, ready to evacuate. Very real people in my community are suffering, and some have lost everything, including loved ones.

And now we have to worry about right wing militia types, who are armed and blocking roads to apprehend "anitfa," based on bullshit rumors!

How will they know when they have antifa at the point of their carbines?

Well, they will just assume when someone who doesn't look like them, or who fits the description of what they feel are antifa, are antifa super soldier arsonists. And since this is an area where most people are white, they will be looking for people of color, or obviously LGTB folks, or maybe even dead heads, or just folks wearing hoodies.

These folks who look different, are already on edge due to right wing fucktards, who have been harassing them for years, and more so in the last few months, due to the troubles we are seeing nation wide. So they are also likely to be armed, and ready for assholes to, fuck around and find out. Which creates a very volatile situation.

So could you just. . . NOT!

There is something about your posts in particular (transphobic, racist, shit disturbing, contrarian, dangerous), that remind me of this very poignant thread.

https://mycotopia.ne...ndercover-pigs/

So I would encourage all of the very thoughtful members of this forum, to keep an eye on this suspect (to me) member, and anyone else parroting the same sort of drivel.

Whoa! I am not saying to hunt anyone down. All I said was "IF" it is arson, the person starting the fires should go to prison. I do feel that arsonists are terrorists. No brainer there. But hunting people down, or harassing people because they do not fit into the nicey, nice neat little conformist box? That would be a resounding big fat no from me. While I lean towards the middle ground, I find the far right and far left equally scary. In fact, everything makes me extremely anxious in todays insane world. I do not function well at all in hateful, anger filled environments. I certainly hope that is not the impression I gave.

Ironic that meatheaded rednecks are imposing the reactionary-retard equivalent of Sharia law on their communities. Especially since the Marxism is coming from inside the house!! (meaning their children, lol)

Checkpoints like that are crossing a line that demands an uncompromising response.

Sure, if surprised by such a checkpoint act however you must to get out of there safely. But then gather some allies, dress up like redneck retards to not appear threatening to them (which allows you to get a lot closer before they realize anything is amiss) then return to the checkpoint offering them cans of Coors Light as a distraction while your team deploys and wipes them out with extreme (but in this case justifiable) prejudice.

Being held at gunpoint against your will is false imprisonment, which is just a euphemism for "kidnapping" (the only distinction being whether whomever seizes you moves you somewhere else or not). Defending oneself against such a crime is fully (and legally) justified. If necessary just cite the "Stand Your Ground" law (if applicable) and claim that "your ground" is the United States and the threat to it you were neutralizing was a Fascist insurrection, which is exactly what that shit is. Any veteran of WWII can attest to the fact that being anti-Fascist does not automatically equate to being pro-Communist or that you're into Antifa or whatever.

The well-armed but not-smart are going to have to relearn the hard way (again) that being physically large, or strong, or armed isn't enough for long-term success (or survival). If it were then Evolution would have made human males more homogeneously large, like is the case with gorillas. But smaller/less aggressive males were not selected out of the human gene pool because it turns out that intelligence is a better survival adaptation than brute strength and aggression.

So if there are too many of them, or they are too strong and well-armed to oppose directly then just feign admiration (they're comically naive and easy to fool that way), volunteer to be a cook for the group, and after a few weeks or so make them a scrumptious mushroom casserole. It should be chef's choice when it comes to species as some groups might be amenable to the lessons of a temporary loss of their oversized Egos while others might be too far gone and need to be removed permanently as a threat to freedom-loving citizens everywhere. If there's no fungi around then a concentrated extract of Datura sp. will probably suffice. Reloading rounds of whatever caliber their rifles shoot (and them somehow getting those rounds into their ammo supply) if one knows what to put in them to make them blow the rifle apart when fired is another option for those who know how. I'm basically looking at such a trend as being equivalent to an invading foreign army that calls for an active Resistance to oppose it. They are not the government, nor can they be allowed to function as such even for a moment or it will only embolden them and make it harder to stop them.

Peace is preferable, but always have a plan-B in case others disagree. "It" can most definitely happen here, assuming it's not already begun to.

Driving in town about 2 months ago I see this woman sitting crossed legged with her head down on the sidewalk. So I pulled over and walked over to her. She said she was resting and I asked her if she needed any help. She told me no and I went about my business. Around 3 weeks ago I see this lady leaning against a concrete wall and notice it's the same woman. I turn around and ask if she needs a ride. She picks up her backpack and gets in. Ask where she wants to go and it's in my direction and only a few minutes further, so I said no problem. She was so distant. Like another world. She asked if we could stop and get something to drink and I ask when she last ate. She tells me a man bought her a burger earlier today and she isn't really hungry, so I asked what will you eat later today? She said she doesn't have any food. Okay so we're buying some food. She's homeless which I figured, but didn't want to embarrass her. I asked if she had children and she told me her daughter died. That hit me like a ton of bricks on the inside because I'm an emotional person and that would kill me. She asked me if I WAS OKAY while we were driving. I dropped her off where she wanted to go. She lives near a river and sleeps outdoors. She weighed 100# soaking wet. My mind was battling because I wanted to bring her into my home, but another part of my mind was saying you don't know this woman and what may happen. I asked her about stormy nights and winter. She told me she stays at a friends sometimes. So I left feeling bad for this woman.

I guess my rant is I'm sick and tired of hearing about how homeless people need to get it together. Some people are hurt and can't recover on their own and NEED help. Some never recover even with help. How humans can be so damn incompassionate pisses me off. How people can have billions and not give a shit about people who have nothing pisses me off. Well, why didn't I take her then? This is my families response. It's okay to pay taxes for those fuckers up there in washington to have dinners, ride 1st class, take diplomatic trips, hold fundraisers etc... but fuck the hurt people, the poor people, the weak. Just let them die is what I hear and that pisses me off. It pisses me off. Jesus says we will always have poor people. Not a fucking excuse to ignore them. I'm tired of hearing about christianity and how wonderful Jesus is when it's not even about the love of christ, but the power over people(my pov). I know there are good people, but this government sucks ass.

Spur of the moment rant. Glad I could yell somewhere. Thanks.

This reminds me of a time when I was in San Francisco for a tech conference in the days before covid. Everyone says how wonderful San Francisco is, but for me the "weight" of the homeless trying to survive was just depressing. At one point a man burst out in frustration "For God's sake, all we want is your leftovers!" and who could blame him for that?

I gave someone money and after that bought some people food, but mostly ended up staying in my room and missing most of the conference.

We went to the wharf at some point and I watched the sea lions just be sea lions and that was soothing.

And then I got to come home.

The status quo requires homelessness as an "incentive" to those who would otherwise not participate in its inherent fuckery.

This sums it up well IMO:

It seems that perpetuating the “disgust factor” toward those who are homeless, helps to support a system that requires the masses to forego their inclinations to be part of a cooperative community that nurtures the common good, in order to participate in obsessively building wealth for the chosen few.

The threat of becoming homeless has become the new bogeyman to keep potential anti-capitalists in check. The state of being homeless has become so appalling that being branded a communist or “libtard” pales in comparison. The threat is vividly there – if you don’t willingly comply with what may seem to be your own enslavement, your punishment will be worse than going to prison, and a lot easier to inflict – you will end up homeless and every effort to pull yourself out will be thwarted. There is no need to arrest people and have a trial and judge and jury for this offense. Your boss, your landlord, your creditors, even your teacher, can convict you and condemn you to a life sentence of hopelessness, being unloved and exiled from society.

For homelessness to be an effective threat, it must be visibly horrible. People who end up homeless whether or not it is their fault, are used as examples of the dreadfulness of the condition. For this reason, acts of compassion toward homeless people are mocked and those who extend basic human kindness to homeless people are labeled suckers. Nothing can be permitted to diminish the awfulness of being homeless.

The question is, why are we seeing this big influx of homelessness. You watch shows on Seattle and San Fran where parks have become homeless camps. Is it directly tied to the opioid crisis? Pepper in some gentrification of places like San Fran where its not affordable for most people to live. One thing is for sure, where it's warm you will have more homeless and opioids on the streets. One thing I learned working downtown and being around homeless people is that many of them are mentally ill. One of the big gaps in our healthcare system.

Hey just take this little pill that you probably can't afford and in a few months we will see what it did. We might have to try thirty different medications but we will pill you outa this one way or another.

Lets see what these folk have to say

The average rent in Seattle for a one bedroom apartment is almost $2000 dollars a month, almost $3000 a month for the same thing in San Francisco.   At those prices, I would be looking into alternative living arrangements myself.

The economy is making the poor, poorer.  The wealth distribution continues to move to the top 10% of society.   The way I see it, sooner, or later there will be a tipping point where people refuse to play the game anymore, and everything will crash.  I was hoping for later, but what comes, will come. Everyone gets a turn in the barrel sooner or later, maybe it's just time for our turn.

Life is funny, I would admit to being one of the people that  laughed at the whole occupy wall street movement. But those people were right, there is a sickness of greed that goes on out there. We start to pay attention to the numbers and realize the middle class carries the weight society on its shoulders. But then the media pumps out the fear engine that the socialists are coming for you and the sentiment fades into obscurity. They convinced us not to lobby against someone who provides no service to society other than moving money around so the rich can get richer in the form of hedge funds. Who by the way were not effected by covid at all, but were more than happy to take all that government funding and stick in the bank for a rainy day

Thank you everyone. I've felt like a whiny baby often. Been called that a few times. Thanks for backing me up with my feelings.

Her name is Kay. I'll never forget her and if I see her again I'll gladly help her to get where she is going. She has pain like everyone else, but her pain drove her further down. Her distance was something I hadn't ever encountered before. She was in another world. How people can't recognize and have compassion is confusing. Then I think about my past colleagues that would commit fraud to please the company and screw over the patient in order to shine. Having a regional manager come in and give praise to those doctorate therapists for meeting goals made me wanna puke(and did at one nursing home) because I was there and saw the bullshit. Did I ever turn them in, hell no. Why? Fear of losing my job and not knowing why they would do it. Everyone has problems and pain. I'm no judge and jury. I wouldn't shine because I'd put down what was real and I'd catch heat and end up having to move on by pressure.  I'm not tooting my horn because if you knew me you'd know I'm far from perfect, but I treated my patients. I don't know why I am the way I am. I've often thought being a sociopath would be so much easier because others wouldn't matter. I'd only be focusing on myself.

If any of this seems off please ask. I'm dealing with a lot right now and can't afford to talk to anyone, so I'm all good with criticism because I don't like where I'm at right now. If that makes sense.

I'm out of healthcare for good and hopefully will get a loan to move into a different line of work because healthcare will kill me.

Hope this made sense.

Man, I've been called much worse than a whiny baby, hell just today, and by people that love me (true story, lol).

If compassion for your fellow man is a crime, I wish more people could plead guilty.  Please, carry on.

Man, thank you. I feel like a bitch sometimes because of how I feel about people. You made me feel better Juthro. I was intoxicated when I typed that out. Next day I figured I should quit the site because I'm whiny. So much going on right now and can't bring it together. I hope you get many blessings, or good things, or peace for helping me understand I'm not a little bitch for caring about people that have no voice.

I'm not to the point where feelings float across like clouds. I'm pissed off that those feelings need to arise out of others carelessness and greed. Can't tell you how much I appreciate you not belittling how I feel man. I'm not a kid, but still feel like one when it comes to people on the shit end of the stick.

You sir are my brother.

Wimzers - your story touched me deeply, thank you man.

You know, when you have a lot of money and stuff, it consumes your mind - It's nice to have just enough - but too much and then the stuff owns you rather than the other way around.  In a real way having "lots of tings" turns out to be a different sort of poverty.  Back when I worked all the time so I could afford a half million dollar house with an inground pool and all the extras - well, most of the time I was so busy I never had enough time to enjoy those things, and even be with my kids as much as I wanted to be.

Now I live in a simple home and all that stuff is gone - I dont miss it.  We live in a world with two kinds of poverty and yet the one could solve the other - if only we could fix our monkey brains.
