Found some yellow/white fuzz growing on the second flush. Check out the attachments... should still be good, yes?

Last pic is a Lipa Yai cake that finally put out a good pinset. Just thought I'd toss that one in there :eusa_shhh

Do you mean the fuzz around the base of the stems? If so, that is normal.

I tossed the ones with fuzz. It turned a darker yellow after they had been picked and I followed the rule, "when in doubt, throw it out." Better safe than sorry.

"speedy trip"? I dunno kinda. I was sweating a lot and didn't do much when I tried 'em. Not as visual as people have been telling me. Neat hot-jello-feeling keyboard was probably the coolest trick they played on me.

BHTs are my fave! SporeWizard is right on. 3 grams will definitely bring some great "clear" visuals for a long time (if dried properly). I've never found them to be speedy at all. Real mellow, relaxing vibe with them, and they make me jitter and giggle and laugh my ass off! You've got some good thick ones there, SmEugd. In my experience, they have never really gotten at all tall, but produce some real meaty stems. If you want to get some even thicker ones and fatass caps, try using some manure in your jar substrate. Most of my jars with manure in them finish like a week if not more earlier than the PF jars, which is a definite plus. Since I started using manure with these guys I've had no jar contaminate. They are pretty contam resistant anyway. Try some with some manure and you will be pleased for sure. Good job!!!

I would just like to say that I also got a BHT spore syringe from Ralphster, I tried a recipe that I found on the hawks eye website supposed to be a good one for Pan Cyan (check out the pan cambo. description at hawks eye). Its similar to the PF tek with 10 tablespoons of pasteurized field manure added to it. I collected cow poop locally, aged turds that were grey on top. I wasnt sure if it would work... eight days later and the jars look 100% colonized. They obviously like the substrate. I'M AMAZED. This strain has left the other four that I have in the dust. Sorry, no pics yet. Im new at this but things are looking good. I have spent weeks researching and its finally paying off...
thank you

Nice looking grow there. I usually dry mine by hanging a screen on the front of my fan on high.

Thanks again, luck is definitely helping at this point. I will have to sit down and do my own write - up w/ pictures one of these days...hahaha

This is my first time growing, I have two cambodian cakes a 10 gal. aquarium right now starting to pin in my garden. The first thing to show up is a mutant cap (abnormal) getting pretty interesting over here...hehehehe

I had a devastaing trip on 4/20/06 from only 3.5 of cubensis in your experience does potency/ effects differ noticably from strain to strain or substrate to substrate.

I am fascinated by mushirooms these days , gonna try pan cyan soon and oyster (edible kind). thanks

potency is highly variable,
essentially individual-based
sample taken side-by-side vary.
each is unique blend of alkaloids.

aaahhh... I see. That was the next thing i was considering potency differs from individual mushroom to mushroom. I think i read that somewhere... also...just remembered...younger less mature are said to be more potent (closed veil)

The BHT spores I innoculated into a pasteurized dung / vermiculite / brown rice flour mixture have begun the fruiting stage . I have a Nikon on its way. I will post pictures soon. I also have Panamanians and Ban Phang Ka that are a day or two behind the BHT's. :eusa_danc

I like short fat mushrooms like your BHT's. They look like something out of a psychedelic picture, very nice:cool: .
