I trimmed my plants ALOT this grow and it really seems to be helping..
The buds are starting way further down the stems... We'll see if they get as beefy as last round.
Nice looking plants man, they def look like keepers!

foaf has used lst with succes with other strains. foaf doesn't want to bend if possible, to keep flowering times shorter.
hope to get some pics soon during lights on.
Foaf switched to 5/10/15 grow/micro/bloom for addback solution at 30%. Foaf adds back during lights off with remote rez.

Foaf is getting ready to change the rez soon. Just gonna fill up new rez, then put the pump in a new rez. Foaf will be switching over to either lucas formula 0/8/16 flora series grow/micro/bloom with floralicious bloom and florablend or 5/10/15 grow/micro/bloom gh flora with floralicious bloom/florablend. May use liquid koolbloom again. Either formula would be kept at 1000 ppm at .5 scale. Anybody have any experience with flora series and different ratios or gh additives for flowering? Like the difference in plant structure between keeping the 5 ml grow and cutting it out?
All these pics are from the april 22nd.

When foaf changed the rez, foaf pinched off the tube going to the buckets. Foaf knew something wasn't right when the rez didn't lose volume from plants drinking solution, and found out during the nightcycle. The plants sat for a day without any solution and got damaged. Not a total loss, but foaf was really sad to see fan leaves twice the size of his hand burned to a crisp on the bottom half. foaf is thinking its not going to hurt things too bad bc all the damage was on lower parts foaf probably should have trimmed anyway bc the canopy is so thick light can't get that far. Now things are looking really trimmed on bottoms, lollipop style. Foaf keeps taking out weak looking branches/budsites, only leave the top budsites that are going to produce, but new budsites are being made so fast foaf can't hardly keep up. Bigger budsites are like pencil tips now.
Foaf will get some pics hopefully this next lights on. Hopefully foaf can laugh about this f-up over a bowl of HP in about 2 months.
Needless to say, foaf will be checking the tubing for kinks more often.

Foaf has been taking many pics. heres some.
Pic 1 is showing a really nice HP clone.
Pic 2 shows some of the damage done by sitting without solution for so long. Foaf had to take off all the bottom fan leaves.
Pic 3 A shot of the canopy on 5/3
Pic 4 A shot of the canopy HPS side on 5/4
Pic 5 Bud shot HPS side on 5/4
Pic 6-10 More shots of conversion bulb side
More pics to come..

Only one question for him/you and may be a stupid one, but Im good at those. You wrote earlier (permalink #35) " FOAF added 10 gallons worth of liquid koolbloom to the rez(35 gal) on day 15 and added 30 gallons worth of AN Bud Candy on day 20." ---- Huh? Ounces?

Plants are doing good, and keep getting stinkier. foaf took some pics and will try to put them up soon. high temps have been causing some stretching between nodes, but other than that everything looking good. one top got too close to a bulb(not burnt) and started to grow faster and stretchier than the others, so foaf tied the bud down. Other buds have been bent over to try and even out the canopy and light penetration. barely any light reaching the ground, very dark under the canopy. foaf wanted to get all contiguous big buds like the last grow, but that was practically impossible to trim right with the unexpected hydro growth rate and foafs veg time. looks like the yield will be off the hook though. foaf hasn't monocropped b4, so its lookin real good.
