And the heatwave sure helps...,I think the temperature at my attic does rise as far as 30oC or maybe more.
Your right about the size of this substrain...they can get rather big.
Shrooms up to 2-6 grams each, with stems so tick, you can easily take away the skin to take inner samples for clones.
But if conditions are not good, they stay very smal and pale ,like in the first pictures on page 1.

Harvested the second flush...
There wasn't any waiting time between the two flushes.
It started right again after I gave the two trays an 8 hour dunk.
The tray that had the best 1 st flush now had the smallest.
Total weight of the 4 trays +- 90 grams wet.
So this makes flush1+2 a total of 250 grams (25 doses) :teeth:

BTW, which is your favorite Pan to grow, if you have a favorite?

Big shrooms, nice flushes, very clean and spiritual.
All in all just aboud the perfect strain/specie.
I think some Pans are more visual, but also feel a little 'darker' or just not have that spiritual feeling I get from these ones.

Thanks everyone,for the heads up...
I've got some heavy overlay,so as a little experiment,I gave one tray an extra casing layer, will see how that works out.
...
Hey spacecake,
How did you cause the overlay?
Was with intend to?
I´m affraid about overlay now =/ hehe
By the way...you´re my hero man, I love Pans, and I´ll try the Sandoze strain next month ^^
I hope my growlog be a sucessful like your.

My intension was, to compare the grow of a fresh print VS an old print.
The result was that the tray of the fresh print got overlayed.
This was only a one time experiment,so not really science...
If your afraid of overlay, then just remember to not use any nutriance in the casing layer,I do it here, but not always with great succes.
(The well known cactus mix works very well, nutriance low)
After this experiment I stopped using compost in my casing layers(with Pan grows) and got better flushes.
But long before this..some time ago I began to ad compost to the casing layer, because I got better results doing this...
Now I know a little bit better when to use it and when not to.
But the Pans still hold alot of secrets, and I'm still far way from getting the good flushes over and over again.
But I think the more we all post our results and failures, the more we can experiment and come to a good(or best) way to grow Pans.(like we do with cubies).

Hum...understood =]
I think the cactus mix works better, I´ll mix it to vermiculit and coir, thus it´ll be a lot more less nutritive, besides...vermiculite gives a good aeration and "water reserve" (rez-effect).
I think it´s good because I read a lot of growlogs (of Brazil growers) wich the argument of failure was: the Pan´s mycelium is more fragile than the cubensis mycelium, so when the cake of pans was crumbled and cased, the fragile mycelium did not recover himself (sic, gramatical error? sorry =/).
And about the secrets...we go discovering reading our growlogs and doing good experiences like your :eusa_clap
Now, I´m not afraid hehe

I was under the impression that a member here (sandoz) found this wild in florida.
I remember seeing several of his posts, but am not sure what the exact details were of his process/isolation.
I think Workman was supplied with a sample or print and made the ID . Not positive on that, or if either isolated or attempted to stabilize a productive version.
Maybe someone who knows for sure will chime in. :)
how about me hehehe sandoze aka syn , they were found in brooksville florida , when we where cleaning the stall of my kids horse . is workman still saying there cambos not cyans ? yeah i did a lot of work getting them stable . about two years . its been so long but the basic idea is to starts w/ a ms culture .clone each good sample 3-5 times each , print due another ms inoc .then clone the what your looking for again , after 3-5 clones take another print . do another ms inoc .then start the cloning over again . i think its more about making a hybred , nature has more to due with it then us . there is a paper that was published that i got the tech i used . i dont want to start off after being gone so long by giving bad advise . all go threw my books asap and post that tech .
i stoped growing caps when i got my care givers lic. for medical weed . but now that things are stable here im gonna start up again .
missed u guys mang , i am with workmen on the ID .
laters sandose syn
