Great Idea SG, but my room in a cinder block room.. no vents in or out... Just a door.. I guess I could vent through the door, But that's less stealthy IMO.

you could rock a nice closed-room system
if you add a cheap co2 generator.
and air-cooled reflectors.

without an in or out exhaust system
you will undoubtably run into
problems with FAE, co2 etc...
If it is a small lil box
I suggest getting a
Co2 Boost Bucket drip system.
Worth every penny, especially
if you have no exhaust.

Gave me big beuatiful buds
when i grew in my closet

If you are rocking a closed room (no vents).
You will not regret that investment.

If you get a tank, be sure to spend the extra 2-4 hundred
on a proper monitor or environment-controller.

I say go for it, put it on your visa or some shit,
come harvest time, you wont be sorry.

(1) G-13 x BW 1 week flower
(2) DJ shorts blue moonshine 3 Weeks Flower
(1) The Flav 5-6 weeks flower

Lookin good bro, you ought to try 1 little DWC hydro setup in there too, to see what a difference it will make . . .
You would be impressed . . .
Be happy to talk you thru it if you want.

Another benefit of using co2 is that you can run at higher temps with less of a problem, its actually better to have a little higher temperature when youre using co2.

Whats your lumens per sq foot? It needs to be pretty high so that you will see any really noticeable results.

Tanks are not very inconspicuous. If you cant cover it and move it into the house stealthily, you will be taking a risk. If you have a garage and a van or truck or such, that would be very convenient.

Theres a pretty good "guide" to co2 on the garden's cure forum. Heres the link-

^^When refilling tanks etc..
I put it in an oversized rubbermaid.
Stealth enough for people not to be suspicious.

Hey Guys! Thanks for the advise! I am still thinking I may try a tank but if I can get what I need without then screw it. As far as the DWC, I have all the stuff, I may bust one out next run just to see... that or a Hempy...

Here are a few pics I took today. The room is filling nicely but man its still getting warm in there.

Damn! what's that light on the side doing? Scaring the plants into producing more THC? . . . lol
Looking pretty Sativa. Nice looking nugs forming but, seriously , you need to make those plants MORE BUSHY. Increase your yield for all of your hard work. Prune, top, bend, twist, lst, rst, pms, lmfao . . . your choice but get some bush goin on :headbang:

Yeah I will be returning to the scrog method I have used in the past after this run. I had yet to just grow a plant out the way god intended.. I just wanted to see some big fatty colas.

:)

I will be hanging the 400 Watt MH after it cools down. way to hot in the growroom right now.

Ah yes the lure of the 1 big fat cola. They are awfully nice but not time/space/cost effective in a small grow.
As far as adding another lamp in the enclosed space, all we have ever used is (1) 400watter. Lots of dank tight buds. As long as your plant area is evenly lit, that's all you should need. More undissapated heat is worse than a little too few lumens. best of luck :eusa_clap

I was thinking I could grow 4 more plants under that 400 Watt MH for a total of 8 plants... Once it cools down for the fall. Sound like a plan?

Hi Prism and crew,
Nice grow you have going there. Interesting sounding strains as well. I'm an admirer of DJ Short strains but haven't invested in any of his genetics yet.

I've done grows with just MH very successfully...so indeed that sounds like a good plan. The UVB from the MH supposedly boosts THC as well.
Peace,
Dee

Too Funny, yup you need to go the way of DD to avoid a severe infestation.

Too hard to get pics of my DD setup, 2 weeks at 12/12.

Just harvested the May grow. Total neglect tek, think the popcorn is smaller overall.

What's next once this grow is finished?

Note; picture not popcorn . . .

That is a great idea, how are your clones coming along now? That one is getting very stretchy in the lower left, are you having to tie it up for support yet?

Hi Prism,
All good things come to he who waits! lol Actually I've been known to nibble occasionally. I have a cheapo vape unit which works good for popcorn buds. You don't even have to dry them. Couple hits on the vape and the bud is dry. Actually it's an excellent way to guage the smoke...or that's what I tell myself.

And the books say that a plant will produce a fixed amount of bud, so by nibbling the little ones...you're shifting that growth to the bigger buds
Peace,
Dee
