do not remember now how much PDA powder for a litter of water it was,will check and let you know,
the autoclaving is supposed to be for 15 minutes but i prefer 10 to 13 minutes with a risk ofcourse,
and if you want clear, pour the agar very thin in the petridish

i like 300gm of taters in 1000ml of h2o boiled for a hour thenstrained threw cheese cloth . added to 20 gm agar and 10 gm dextrose . makes for a beautifull clear agar everytime . also i go for 40-45 min pc at 15pci anything less seems to have a 10-20% contam rate . anything over 45 min at 15pci causes the media sugars to carmalize .
