Good stuff, Dooby...
Absolutely amazing IMO, using uncased, store-bought manure. :eusa_clap
Did you perform all of your misting with straight H2O?
Peace,
AS
Each of those plates is one serving, right? :teeth:

Heh, I should have tried to get a pic of them all b4 I dried them, but they flushed over a few days and some were partial dry already. The pic with the plates above is missing a few late pickings. :)

I'm misting with bottled spring water...Those gallons you see at the supermarket. I use tap water for other stuff, but not misting.

Here's what they look like dry...

DAMN DATS NICE! Talk about the "makings of a good evening..."

Do you store in plastic bags? Freezer? Or do you (like my crazy wife) just have a very big appetite???

They get stored in an airtight container with desiccant of some type. Plastic bags are not air tight and not good for storage.

Dig it. Thanks for the confirmation. My FOAF is storing in pints with silicone dessicant packs.

Have you ever messed with the oxygen absorbers? I'm wondering if they might be a good investment...

So here comes flush #2 already. :) The substrate pulled away from the sides of the bins, which is normal, and where there is fresh air, and light, there will often be pins, and sure enough. :) I've seen them do this b4, no biggie, they pick very easily and actually hold themselves in place better on the edges. heh

But wow, only 22 days, and the 2nd flush is starting already. Dats 22 days from mixing the compost mix with the rye spawn. WOW. Less than a week from the first flush.
