I got a Veteran's tag. No stops here. :nana: Period. Much better than having that dumb sticker that says you donated to the police/sherrif's retirement fund.

I met some people once who said they smuggled all their charas in candles they made. Takes a long time to make the candles but it's supposed to be pretty effective if you don't have professional smuggling equipment (like machines that can make tin cans, etc).

when riding dirty which is basically a constant for me(no license) anyways first off i follow EVERY traffic law to the t just so long as it does not make me stand out and i like to put those stickers on my car the ones that have a little football and say jason or tammy or whatever your little athletes name is i go for the this is a family vehicle approach i drive a ton and rarely get caught when i do its always due to an error on my part

I used to rely on the " obey all the laws and drive straight " trick because I lost my DL years ago.
Do no rely on this method anymore. I finally stopped driving because I was pulled over twice for no other reason than they ran my plate and I came back as suspended. You don't have to do anything wrong to get your plate ran and they apparently have plenty of time to look for little, money making things to police rather than do any serious police work.

My friend had a good idea he said to get a cb radio and ask the truckers for bear reports. He said theres always a trucker out there that will tell you where they are so you know to be extra careful.

My first thought was "wow, cb radios are still around? I remember those!" lol Smokey and the Bandit right? Civilian Band radio comms is a great way to tap in to a decentralized information network on while on the road. HAM radio is the next step up, but it gets a little more technical.

Its basically what cellphones are, but without the identification and triangulation, as there's no infrastructure needed to perpetuate the signal.

I think I'm gonna make a trip over to radio shack and see what's available.

The only thing I see wrong with using a cb radio is if the cop is the only one around they can say all clear...even if they are not allowed...who is to say the cop said it was clear? But usually the cb works pretty well.

I might be wrong,
but I believe cops stay on their public safety frequencies
so they can keep in contact with dispatchers & other cops.

If one had a radio that was manufactured outside of the US,
it might allow access to those frequencies though...

Why all my emphasis on DUI? Because the hysterical nature of people's reaction to it has allowed it to become one of the the greatest domestic threats to the Constitution. The writer of "DUIblog" makes a convincing case:

His actual arguments are contained in the rest of the article: http://www.duiblog.c...e-constitution/

Great link, TV.... very sad reading in this thread overall... the gov't is out of
control.... my theory is to be an upstanding citizen on paper, and to avoid
taking stuff off my own property, or hiding the HELL out of it when I do...

A lifetime ago, we used to roll up to Denver for lb's of reefer... I knew a
potter who would combine the trip with a ride to the potter's supply store.
We'd cut one of those large (1 foot by 2 feet) blocks of clay in half with
a wire, dig out a hole in the middle, stash the weed, then put the clay
back together, careful to smooth over the seam with a wet sponge, then
put the clay back in it's plastic bag, then spritz the whole thing with alcohol and wipe it down....

There's other ways to do the same thing on a smaller scale if you use
your imagination.

edit / add on: I never travel with any pipe or papers, but make something once
I get to my destination. I have LOTS of friends who got popped with a paraphenalia (sp?)
charge, which is almost as bad as possession, especially if you have an employer
who keeps tabs on such things (Fed, State, County, etc.)

My personal favorite is the beercan bowl - smoking from an aluminum can isn't
something I do regularly, but it beats the alternative.. :) - sol

hehe, I've known people to use Bible pages...

You can break a hole in a glass bottle with a dime if you repeatedly make it strike in the same spot a few times, and tinfoil works in a pinch as a bowl..

How about a half dozen chihuahuas instead? As you get pulled over, give them a drink of the special water with the Adderall in it that you made and kept in the car for just this occasion and then turn all the little geeked-out crotch-stompers loose as the cop and his K-9 approach your car.

Hehehe, I could pull that one off, given that I have 3 chihuahuas and a script ;)

I dont know personally if it will work but I have heard of people vacuum packing their stuff then using vasaline (after washing their hands) about a half inch thick to seal the pores of the plastic then vacume packing again. then do the whole step one more time. Now this will only work if you can find a really good hiding spot on your car like a body panal or something. I just remembered this idea or else I would have posted it sooner. Good luck to anyone who finds a way to succeed! I know there has to be a way some how.

Well I guess it could be old trucker folklore but I have had friends that swear that they where pulled this way. The fines for truckers speeding can get quite hefty.

Colorado HATES DUI's! Bastards. I got a DUI in CO on July 3rd. Pulled over because I had a crack in one of my tail lights. I passed the road side tests and he still gave me a roadside BA without asking. VERY out of protocol. My lawyer says he has a pretty good chance of putting this case to shame but we will see. 3 beers (which I don't know anybody under the age of 17 or so that can't drink 3 beers and be fine) will get you a DUI in CO. .05 BAC is a VERY small amount of alcohol in your system. The guy even admitted I was driving fine but he smelled alcohol so..... I get fucked. They really need to come up with a more fair way of determining whether or not you ACTUALLY are too intoxicated to drive, not just a stupid blood test.

Go here with a few hours set aside for some required reading (and prepare to get really pissed off): http://www.duiblog.com/

And this is full of relevant info for anyone who drives (focused mainly on red light cameras but plenty of other articles too). It calls itself A Journal of the Politics of Driving: http://www.thenewspaper.com/

What do you guys think about those vacuum sealed mason jars? Definately no air leakage. Never tried it yet but that's what I was thinking of trying on my camping trip next year.

I believe "tips" as such given out on public websites to be counterproductive but goods hermetically sealed in an air conditioning system is labor intensive yet remarkably successful.

Hmm, seems this thread is starting to get into the area of major trafficking. Most of us can't hire friends to drive lead and chase cars in a mini convoy to help us get our head stash to the beach or festival or whatever. It's one thing to talk about good spots to hide an ounce of weed or how to seal it up as well as possible but quite another to lay out the details of a major drug smuggling operation. Like Lefty has pointed out, it's really not information we need to be sharing; talking about head stashes is already iffy (I've never posted the ones I actually use these days but I see no harm in simple general tips) but discussing details of organized trafficking is beyond the scope of what this website is about.

I hope you understand my editing was done for your sake as well as 'Topia's. We're here for consciousness expansion and don't want to be associated with teaching each other how to be large scale drug traffickers.
