Good luck! I'm new too, and I also tried a variety of projects to get started out. Some good, some fails, and a few contams, but all good learning experiences. I love the Z as well, all of my successes to this point have come with it! Good vibes heading your way!

Oh, absolutelly fast....They colonized the subs about 75 per cent in 14 days.
I´m loving them :bow:

My partial results as follows:



I need to say that all subs been passed through a sterilization, inocullation and incubation process in the same way, togheter I mean...for the comparision effect.
And the pancakes, obviouslly, the panceke with the HPoo core was the winner :lol:
And for me, the Pancake with the rice+wbs in the middle was better than the popcorn heart. ^^
The white corn kick the ass of the yellow porpcorn :loveeyes:
I´ll use the white corn from now on. :headbang:

Very nice chart, P4ulada. But one question, stupid probably.. but are the percentages the approximate colonization % at this time, or the number of successfully colonized versus contam'ed jars, or..?
I wonder if I can get that "red rice" where I live.

Not stupid question...all questions bring us to learn ^^
The percentages are the percentage of the subs colonization until now, in average.
Until now, I have zero contamined jars :amazed:
If the post office taxes ins´t too high to send, I would love to send for you.

Oh, I´m though in any statistical tests to do the histogram, but...I don´t know, not necessary IMHO =/
I´m though to use the test F, do you know? To exclude the results out of the acceptable... but, I didn´t haha
I love this type of tests :loveeyes: You see...In the next time I´ll use only the red rice, and Canjica instead of yellow popcorn huhu
In the next grow, I´ll test if the "cateto" rice is better than red rice...
I think the rice with the core is better, ´cause the nutrients are in the core...:lol:

About the statistics, yearh you could use the F-test.. and you probably know much more about statistical analysis than I do. :-) But I think what matters most is just that you record these things in a quantitative manner, like you did with the histogram, so it's easy to see how the experiment went.. that's cool! If growing mushrooms wasn't against the law in most places we could have gathered all that kind of data in a huge database for extensive analysis...

There are a lot of peoples doing good grow experiments here...but we can´t do a database by the law, but anyway...I think it´s possible haha but just in a small scale :nana:
