Just thought I'd share a few choice pics from my Malabar strain. Very resilient strain, highly recommended. Great potency and fruit great at room temperature.

:eusa_danc Malabar (India) :eusa_danc

These boomers weighed over 3g dry each. The last pic is a hi-res close-up showing in detail the cap size and color through different stages of development. Truly a beautiful strain. :rasta:

I had a nice iso of malabar in the incubator this spring...

The kitten and her Mom took over my growroom for a food pantry and unplugged the incubator...

It's still there- I wonder if I can revive i...

NICE BOOMERS!

Those are beautiful Frequency. I've never seen anything get that big off a cake, is that the first flush?

Thanks Catdaddy! I hope you can revive your long-lost isolate!

Gracias! Yes, very resilient myc! I normally keep them on jar lids because it's a waste of energy for the mycelium to try to colonize the lava rock, but it sure makes really neat "myc rocks" behind that can be used in jewelry or kept just for fun. It really demonstrates the virility of this strain and cube mycelium in general.

Gracias tambien! They're actually from 3rd and 4th flushes! I was lucky enough to get quite a few boomers from one single flush that I illustrated in another thread. I attached it for reference, it's the biggest Malabar flush I've ever had. 2nd flush I believe. The first pic is right before harvest, and the rest are of the same cake a day before in my FC.

Delicious! :amazed:

Just a regular old PF cake or Suuuper caaaaake! Those did well for you. Is that a trait of Malabar or did genetics help this out?

Thanks! Plain ol' PF cake from multispore. I'm a huge advocate of the PMP-style FC + dunking after every flush. I treat them well with respect and they respect me back!

nice! I'm waiting on malabar myself, my first go at this strain. Should be next week and I'll be posting some photos myself. When you are done with those cakes you should crumble them with hpoo outside!
