ohh man, i got tooo many favorites . lol
i think i save just about everyone i love that resonates with me. lol
i gotta post a handful of em.. lol

this is one of my favorites from Einstein...

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the
rational mind is a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honors the
servant and has forgotten the gift.”” Albert Einstein

The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking. ~Albert Einstein

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe. A.E.

some others are...

"True skepticism does not begin by being anti-anything. The processes of open consideration and examination (i.e., research) will ultimately establish whether something exists or not. " ~ Ingo Swann

"This is the nature of genius, to be able to grasp the knowable even when noone else recognizes that it is present." Deepak Chopra

Things are as they are. Looking out into it the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations. Alan Watts

"The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach." *C.G. Jung*

Say not, 'I have found the truth,' but rather, 'I have found a truth.'
Kahlil Gibran

Warning: Due to a shortage of robots, Workers here are Human Beings and may react unpredictably if abused.

"Rebel against what?" Robert Nesta Marley

Ours is the age which is proud of machines that think and suspicious of men who try to. ~Howard Mumford Jones

New opinions often appear first as jokes and fancies, then as blasphemies and treason, then as questions open to discussion, and finally as established truths.

In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual. - Galileo Galile

Men can live without air a few minutes, without water for about two weeks, without food for about two months - and without a new thought for years on end. ~Kent Ruth

"It is morally as bad not to care whether a thing is true or not, so long
as it makes you feel good, as it is not to care how you got your money
as long as you have got it." Edmund Way Teale

Inability to accept the mystic experience is more than an intellectual handicap. Lack of awareness of the basic unity of organism and environment is a serious and dangerous hallucination. For in a civilization equipped with immense technological power, the sense of alienation between man and nature leads to the use of technology in a hostile spirit---to the "conquest" of nature instead of intelligent co-operation with nature. Alan Watts

guess i should prolly stop now..
i got thousands i think.

cool thread, good stuff all.

A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.

All we are saying is give peace a chance.

All you need is love.

As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.

If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.

It doesn't matter how long my hair is or what colour my skin is or whether I'm a woman or a man.

Love is the answer, and you know that for sure; Love is a flower, you've got to let it grow.

Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.

Possession isn't nine-tenths of the law. It's nine-tenths of the problem.

Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.

The basic thing nobody asks is why do people take drugs of any sort? Why do we have these accessories to normal living to live? I mean, is there something wrong with society that's making us so pressurized, that we cannot live without guarding ourselves against it?

~John Lennon

"Kiss my lily-white ass".

Look at that! My husband stole my quote!

Well, here's a couple more I personally like.

"Part of being a woman is knowing when not to be too much of a lady." Jacklyn Smith

"On your knees, babygirl." Catdaddy

I have lots of favorites quotes but I'm having trouble remembering them at 5 am, lol.

"Give a man a fish, you fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you fed him for a lifetime" -?

The years of silent lessons I've learned from dedicated individuals like you. (you know who you are) **everyone whose made an attempt**

and...... i forgot the ending quote i had for this statement.(I've been sitting, trying to remember for an hour) but i feel the community here is so supportive, league above the rest. Mycotopia, and all members, have brought me to a place that i never imagined. If the internet dies tommarrow, and i never post again, your words and wisdom shall live on, like the quotes that you all know and love. Thank you

One love
