I've been smokin 10x for some time out of a water bong because of how sharp sally is, but cant seem to get an intense high. Will doing hits from a pipe give a stronger high?

I prefer to smoke sally out of a gravity bong, that way you can pack it up nice and big and smoke a whole bowl in one giant rip.... This method has never failed for me, and always sends me on a rocket out of the universe

Yea I don't like the way sally makes my body feel either. I feel the same exact thing you do elixer and i don't like it at all. And she makes me feel really heavy and my body temp goes up way high. I've tried 5 times now and all the same experience. My g/f tries one time and she sees vines growing to the music and she goes to a place where a tree and a goat talk to her with none of the side effects i just described. I was pissed lol. Is there anyway to overcome these sensations??

I dunno. I do know that my brain chemistry is a little different than mosts as SSRI's work backwards on me. Something is crazy with that shit. When I take big hits I feel like the universe is resonating at high frequencies and my body can feel it.

Keep smoking til you get fucked up, after that every time is much easier to get the full effect. Took me 6 bowls of leaf, then finally a huge bowl packed in my bong, and finally BAM!! Now a few hits gets me there, usually...

I smoked salvia for a long time,
straight leaf and extracts from 5-10;
smoked joints and blunts of straight leaf,
smoked graity bongs of extract and weed
and all I got was lightheaded and smoewhat nauseous.
It wasn't until I had 20x and some kind bud in a bong
that I got shipped.
It took one hit...and shipped I was...
I would say smoking method matters little;
most say bong because the smoke isn't as harsh,
and it does little to affect potency imo.
Many do advise the use of a torch lighter as it will give you bigger hits.
(i.e. the flame heats the smokable to the desired temp faster
so you're pulling lots of smoke from the beginning of the hit to the end)

I smoked my salvia maybe 5 times with little or no affect. I used a bong and torch lighter. Then I even chewed as many leaves as I could fit in my mouth (I don't recommend this as it tastes awful) with almost no effect except it seemed like I suddenly needed a slightly stronger prescription.

Then one day I was going to try a gram before a bike ride and only smoked about 2/3 of it in 2 bowls and I was higher than pot ever made me, and it's been the same since.\
A couple bowls and I get really sweaty and somewhat paranoid.

Does salvia get stronger as it matures?

The timeframe from when I first tried it to when it finally worked was about 6 months, and the plant had doubled its size.

i've read somewhere that with some people salvia has a sort of reverse tolerancy. you can smoke it 2 or 3 times without any real effect, and the bam, any time after that it keeps getting stronger.
this did not happen with me though, as i believe that i am somewhat sensitive to the erb.
where i live you can spend upwards of $50 for 1 gram of 20x
that is alot of coin for maybe 8 hits!
in my opinion, one should invest in a cheap butane torch lighter and use a water bong to cool the smoke if they enjoy smoking salvia , because it will stretch that gram out and give you the biggest bang for your buck.
keep the flame directly on the erb the whole time you are drawing too.
cheers!!

I doesn't really matter if it's 10x or 20x if the initial leaf isn't much good.
I'm a hard-head with most plants and I assume it would apply to sally also. When I used to make up extracts (from leaf I have grown) anything above 10X starts getting a little too tarry to smoke. 0.8 gram of my 10x (one big toke) can send me into simultaneous multiple universes.
Once you start getting into the 10x the dosage becomes quite critical and I would weigh it out. Even a little too much can become unpleasantly disorienting.
Do you guys lie down in a dark/silent room when you smoke? If you are just sitting up or walking around in a lit room she won't do much even at massive doses and you will tend just to get unpleasant physical sensations. Going to her with proper intention also makes her easier to work with.

Yeah i'm thinking salvia quality is the issue here. Last stuff i ordered online the 5x wrecked me, the 10x turned me into a salvia puddle, and the straight leaf (which they threw in for free) even was quite potent off 1 or 2 hits.

that is a nice cutting,

hows the humidity for it (do you have a humidity tent) and please explain your watering, and fertilizer methods, and your soil mix........

but it looks to me like too much heat, too little humidity........with both working hand in hand with each other........i.e. as heat goes up, so must humidity, and as heat goes down, humidity can go down....but really this rule is most important for when the heat is high as you plant will start to curl and form dry edges........

but, please give more info on specs like mentioned above.........

I have no humidity tent up,I mist her everyday a few times and the soil is moist,as for the fert and soil I'll have to ask the Topia mem that traded it to me.I did transplant it into regular black soil from a garden center.

You might not want to do it, but here is what I would do...

Cut those two top nice leafy parts off, put in some water, clone them up nicely into 2 new plants.

The main stem that's left, cut it back a few inches above that new shoot below with the leaf. It should come back and fill it again in the meantime, 2 more plants should get going.

As for the burnt leaf tips, just low humidity, looking good otherwise, take it easy on ferts for a bit till she takes off...

hey cutty, as these wise topiates have said, it is definitely a lack of humidity that are browning the leaves, but no worries.
sally doesn't like to be transplanted and can take a while to start new growth, but you'll be fine. i think if you keep doing what you are doing than the new growth will adapt to the lower humidity. if you could make a tent out of a large bag or something that would certainly help too. as for the cloning i would wait for some more new growth just because that girl has been through a transplant and a put in a new home with different temps and humidity. let it adjust, and with spring comming and more sun comming through that window you will be amazed at how it will thrive. i'll bet you'll be taking plenty of clones by the middle of may so you can have some for that green house in you backyard!
good luck!!

sally will grow huge if you let it, actually it should be large enough to supply you with more sally then you have a need for........

consider clones, but i would personally grow that baby out huge and healthy before i went to work on it.......

peace
