Pictures of my first PSILOCYBE CYANOFRISCOSA patch.
Alan Rockefeller sent me a print last December (Thanks!:thumbup:)
and I created a patch in March 2009.

This pic is the coolest. Check out the spiky growth at the base of the fruits. Looks to me like its to hold the fruits in place against nature and the elements by meshing into nature's "casing layer" like with the straw here

Or it could be conditions or anything else I have no idea I'm just guessing either way congrats on the badass patch and the pictures are sick

Caused me to go and check on my friscosa beds. What were the temps and rain like at this time ?

It was quite warm (72 F), no rain but high relative
humidity (74%). Psilocybe cyanofriscosa is clearly
more resistant against dryness and warm temps
than Psilocybe cyanescens.
