Hello, I know this thread is old, but does anyone have more information about this Vietnam var.?

if you are looking for quality avoid pan mushrooms, they hardly contain anything and require a longer vegetative time before fruiting or you end up with small pins like in this picture. I missing something here...why would you say that?? pans are WAY stronger then cubes by far(at least 3x more potent) and the quality is superb.....I think you need to do your homework...that sir is your opinion not a fact...

pans are just as easy as cubes(if you can do bulk cubes you can def do pans easily...)

homework < experience. i know because of personal experience. not some internet article.

if pans were so much stronger and better dont you think most of the people on here would be growing them instead? there is a reason most of us dont.

Maybe in your experience, billy, but in every other case I have read and experienced myself, pans are at least 2-3 times stronger per dried gram than cubes. They don't get as big and the dry vs wet weight is probably not as significant as cubes but they are definitely stronger per dry gram. The reason most do not grow them is because they are harder to grow and the dry weight (as mentioned is not as significant). And also the lift off with these is much easier on the soul than with cubes. Waylit once said "cubes and pans will both get you there but the ride with pans is like a limo ride where as the ride with cubes is like catching a cab". Don't get me wrong both experiences are terrific but pans do not carry the body load or the anxiety that cubes create.

Oh and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the docs grow. He did a beautiful job! Pans by nature are just small.
