Great Beds Hyph! :eusa_clap

My brother says I am the Farmer who is so impatient that I get up in the night and go out and tug on the shoots so they'll grow faster. He's about right, except I don't really - but I catch myself checking when I know it's silly to....

You may be right on time for the second coming , due to El Niño.

So getting a little warmer there? That would be cool if they started fruiting again. Was looking at the pic of your little greenhouse setup you made ... is that just plastic over those flexible tubing like in tents? Care to expand on how its made? I know its nothing elaborate but looks great and might like to try something similar here in the future.
Awesome thread hyph

The plastic was draped over fresh maple branches that were arched over the bed and stuck in the ground. Just using whats on hand. Having an arch every foot or two made the unit quite strong. I used rocks to hold the plastic down & tight.

The greenhouse was because the overnight temps kept going below zero and at the same time it was drizzle-raining. Had I not covered them the rain would freeze overnight and cause havoc in the patch.

Only draw-back on the greenhouse protection is the fact it can be seen in the woods from 100 paces ...

Ah ok cool thx ... was also thinking that they looked like branches too, but wasnt sure because they had some nice arches in them. Good job man.
