I think I remember reading somewhere before that you should allow some spores to drop for a few hours, then transfer the cap to another piece of foil/tyvek/whatever your using for the final print?
What I'm asking is, should I just let this cap finish printing on this piece of foil? Or let it sit for a few hours, then put the cap on another piece and leave it over night?
Thanks!

no need to discard the first print esp. from indoor grown specimens.

just move it to a new surface once a day
until it stops.

Hillbilly's are the same way. My FOAF has gotten 3 or 4 good prints off of each one. Five from one, once!
Just look through your cover pint at the foil under the cap. If it's dark enough for you, slap another piece of foil under and print again!
Once the stop dropping spores, stop printing.
Remember, you only need two spores out of the millions that will be on even a very light print for it to work...

Sounds like a trick for spore vendors who sell prints.

Well, I got 2 decent prints off 1 cap, started a third, but a few hours into it, nothing had dropped and the cap started looking a little wet, so 2 good ones and that was it..... one is up one the free prints thread.......
The other will go to the print drive. :)
